Meet our Fabulous Team of Experts

Members of the EEP Team.

We are a bunch of eager individuals who thrive on creating events.  We enjoy hearing from our potential new clients with new event ideas and projects, because they give us a chance to work as a team and be creative! Once the guidelines are set, we start brainstorming and the fun begins.

We have established a team of college students and the newly college graduates as our interns/assistants.Each Expert Event team member brings a unique background and area of strength to our business. We value our young team members because they are enthusiastic, bring fresh ideas, and are able to gain professional business experience.

Meet me: Nada Marriott I’m the Expert who created Expert Event Planners back in 2006. In following my passion for music, I taught music to grade school students for many years. Today, in addition to organizing Expert Event Planners of Hawaii, I am a singer with the local symphony chorus and Hawaii Vocal Arts Ensemble. I also love to read, write, and take care of my two little Pomeranians.

Meet Nicole Lemas – such a go getter she is.  We love the way she came to Hawaii and immersed herself in the Hawaiian culture.  Nicole brings to us the drive.  She moves forward with gusto, ready to jump into what ever we need her to do.  She’s our go to girl.  Nicole is a graduate from Hawaii Pacific University with a degree in Anthropology.  One more thing about Nicole, she traveled with “Up With People” for a season visiting various countries and gaining enormous amount of experience. 

Meet Maria Kashem – a former competitive cheerleader for 10 years, a tandem surfer, a flutist, a film director/editor, and a graduate student at Hawaii Pacific University focusing her degree on media, marketing and public relations.  She is continually thinking how we can improve our website, facebook page, twitter, pintrest, and our blog, yes this blog, as our social media expert. Maria is always full of energy and smiles! Go get’em Maria!

Meet Jason Mateo – is our compass.  He is a great team player (working with us ladies, he has to be).  Jason is our sound, lighting and visual aids go to guy for our events.  If he is not setting it all up, he knows who to get in order to get the job done right.  His connections in Hawaii are priceless and when we need a new vendor, he knows how to find just the right one that will make the difference for our clients and their customized events.  He works tirelessly and brings with him his vast experience in the event planning, managing and creating events.  He things different and that is what we like.

We also have a few helpers that come on board as needed for extra boost of energy and efficiency.
