You ARE ENGAGED!!!! And as soon as you said “YES” you started thinking about the wedding, and you have been thinking about it since you were 12 yrs old… ok maybe not since then, but you have looked through the wedding magazines and have combed through the internet and have seen myriads of ideas and some you like and others make you go “hmmm?”
The bottom line is that all the information that you will need IS on the internet!
The catch is that the internet is HUGE, very easily cumbersome thus making you get lost in it, confused and bewildered.
Not to mention all the ideas you get from your friends, aunties AND you mom.
Now with all these ideas coming from every direction, your head is spinning and you don’t know which way to turn.
You love your mom and all of your friends (and maybe even your aunty) and want to plan this wedding together, but your mom is acting like this is “her” wedding, since she, and your dad, are paying for the wedding, so she should have the 51% of the vote on most everything. Arrrrrgggg
Aaaaand, you get a bright idea that you want to hand make your wedding invitations AND your favors for all of your 200+ guests. Don’t forget you have a job that takes you away from your wedding plans 40 hrs per week.
Now you are loosing sleep, getting off track, doing things that can wait and brushing off things that need to get done first, you are getting stressed out because the wedding is in 2 weeks and you just remembered that you haven’t confirmed the caterer.
On the day of your wedding, you are so stressed out from trying to look the best you can, to making sure all of your vendors have shown up and are doing what they are supposed to do that you are NOT able to enjoy YOUR day!
